Hey Brian!!!

This season, hard as it's going to be, I'm going to try not to read your episode previews. They're wonderful, as always, but even just that little bit of guest casts and speculation gets me thinking all spoilery and takes away a bit from my viewing. We'll see how long I last, cuz your posts are so tempting!!

But that doesn't mean I won't be thinking about the episodes! I just finished rewatching Season 4 and i have so much in my head... I really can't imagine what direction they'll take us in first, and I *guarantee* I'm gonna be scratching my head over all the timeline stuff. As it is, the Oceanic 6 are now 3 years in the future, post-Island-moving, and who knows where/when the Island is. One thing I'm very interested to see is whether the Island folks ever know that the Oceanic 6 survived, or if they all think they died on the freighter. That could make a real difference in their motivations.

And, as we've already been discussing on the Gaga thread -- motivation shmotivaton if Sawyer stays shirtless!  Grin (Hey, you did post that pic of Evangeline Lilly!)

I can't wait for us to all get back to that wholesome Lostie goodness we all love!

Brian,

Been reading your blog for years (love your thoughts!), but this is my first comment...and my first time disagreeing with you.  Embarrassed  I love your theory that the Island has gone back in time to "reset" itself.  However, when it comes to the Oceanic 6 returning to the Island I think they will in some way be traveling back in time to meet the left over survivors "whenever" the Island presently is.  There, I think they'll fix whatever their leaving messed up (or not - remember the producer's hint that you can't change the future), and live happily ever after (or just live) for 30 or so years.  This could easily make Jack and Kate "Adam and Eve," and also allow for the fact that if you can't change the future, present Jack and Kate (and everyone else for that matter) are dead when the Island reaches 2004 (again) and Oceanic 815 crashes.  Whew!  Confusing, but I think that makes sense.  Just a thought!!

Hope everyone has a blast tonight!!!

Hi,

Been following your blog since season two, and I just can't stop... Keep up the good work.

On the subject of the island being moved back in time, I have a thought. The dead Locke we saw in the end of season 4 didn't really look a day older than the day the O6 left the island. Do you think his aging stopped, (like Alpert), or did he maybe went "back to the future"?
