In regards to the mystery girl, it's definitely note kate...but it's also not Penny, because it's someone that Sawyer recognizes.

It has to be a character that we've met before. Someone who will surprise Sawyer and the audience.

The hair in the previews reminds me of Libby's hair, but that wouldn't really make sense, considering that she's dead and wasn't an effective or important character...

hm.. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I remember the actress who plays Kate saying in a TV Guide interview that the first half of the season is confusing and asks a lot of the viewer, but is rewarding from the halfway point until the end. I have a feeling this is the halfway point, since everyone's back on the island, and the story will take a shift in a new direction.

The fact that this episode is supposedly based around Sawyer also very interesting. I think we're all in for an AMAZING episode with lots of surprises.

Great avatar, Haunted_Apples!

I haven't posted for a while because Brian and everybody else keeps saying what I'm thinking (and, especially with Brian, far beyond what I'm thinking).  Yet Lost still manages to surprise, at least sometimes...

I'm starting with Stef's question about Sun.  I see two Sun theries:

Sun in the 'present':   Sun is there because she was supposed to leave the island.. when the others were not. The other 5 were 'zapped' back to 1974 when they were 'crashing' and locke moves the FDW..  They were sent 3 years ahead of the others as the time travel is relative so they zapped to the same time PLUS 3 years of the people already on the island.. (and I have to ask also, where is vincent, Rose and Bernard)

Sun in 1974:  Could ben have travelled in time? Could this be a flashback of some sort?  I doubt it because his arm is in a sling.

Thoughts on Penny/Ben's injuries :  If the island wants her to die, she'll die, if not, there is no way he can kill her. Look at Locke. This guy was dead and embalmbed... and bam, he's alive. Talk about a miracle.  The question is, what is the islands fate for Penny. It's obvious that the island was OK with Alex's death.. maybe because it wants a war between Ben and Widmore.

Thoughts on LaFleur:  Loved it... but I think Saywer would be crazy to give up Juliet.  She's awesome in all the ways Kate isn't.  Juliet is amazing in so many ways.  Sawyer is now likable.

I liked the character development.  I am a little confused about Goodspeed being the leader.  I just don't get the leader vibe from him.  As others have said...what happened to Olivia?

I am curious how these they will survive the purge.  This plays into the comicon video of the appeal for help.  But is it not possible that many of these people espape? Again, what happened happened, so Marvin Candles appear to 2007 may not be a reach if the people in the future done what they did to change the past. Obviously, they found a way to communicate through time.

Check out the guest star list on the next episode.. I won't post it here, but we get several interesting people and another visit from Christian. 'namaste'.
