Thanks for the preview Brian!
You haveto watch Some Like it Hot! One of my top 10 ever!!!

Maybe since Hoth is an icy planet, the title could mean Some Like it Cold..? (Like in death...?)
 Huh

One more thing, they filmed the Hoth scenes in Norway....that's where Alvar Hanso is right?
(Does anyone care about Alvar anymore?)

Found this on Wikipedia, could it have to do with the Hostiles being "Rebels?"

"Planet overview

The Rebel Alliance relocated to Hoth after their victory in the Battle of Yavin. However an Imperial probe droid, before being destroyed by Han Solo, discovered the base on Hoth. The Rebels, acting on this discovery, immediately began preparations to leave. However Darth Vader's Death Squadron, Blizzard Force, arrived in time to intercept them, forcing the Rebels into combat in order to cover their escape. Although the Empire won the Battle of Hoth by destroying the Rebel base and capturing many Rebel personnel and equipment, the Rebels didn't attempt a full-scale defense, but rather worked to stall the Empire's forces long enough to stage an effective evacuation, and to allow the deletion of compromising information as to the whereabouts of the Rebel Fleet. Since the Rebels did successfully evacuate vital leadership and some personnel and equipment, the Empire failed to do more than stall the Rebels' plans, and the Rebel Fleet remained elusive.

The action on Hoth features prominently in the opening of Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back and is one of the Star Wars series' most memorable sequences.

Hoth is an example of the science-fictional stereotype of a planet that has only one climatic zone. However, some Expanded Universe sources show that under-ice caves containing large lichen fields exist on the planet, on which Tauntauns feed. The Rebel alliance was forced from the planet by the 501st legion of the Imperial Army.

There is a theory commonly referred to as Snowball Earth which argues that the earth went through a period several hundred million years ago, during which it was completely covered with mile thick ice sheets, while retaining an oxygen atmosphere. If this is true, it would mean that Hoth is one of the more realistic planets depicted in science fiction."

I think LaFleur meaning "flower" did have relevance to the episode:  Sawyer blossomed after he became LaFleur.  He might not even mind me saying that.

But Hoth?  Hurley knows all about comic books...maybe he'll quote Star Wars.  Or maybe Hoth being cold has something to do with the icy area around the FDW.  Except I'm not sure we're there yet.

I'm with Renee. I think the simpler meaning of "Some like it cold" is the key here. HOTH=COLD=DEATH

Miles is just going to put his skills to good use here and gives us a bit of good information.

I posted this on the Blog comments, but thought it was worth mentioning:

On Hoth, Luke had his first encounter with the visible spirit of his mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi while he was delirious and hypothermic in the frozen wastes.
> Dead people are resurrected in a sense by the island.

Later in The Empire Strikes Back, Luke found out that Darth Vader was his father. Oh, and he also got his hand cut off and had it replaced by a prosthetic.
> Miles may find out that Dr. Chang is his father. And Dr. Chang eventually gets his arm removed and replaced by a prosthetic. Or if we're doing a full reversal, Dr. Chang finds out the shocker that his adult son is with him and a time-traveler.

Brian, Renee beat me to the punch.   You really must see "Some Like it Hot"  It's also one of my faves.  It was number one in the American Film Institute's list of 100 best comedies.  And it has possibly the best last line of any movie ever.  When Jack Lemmon, as Daphne, after several attempts to get out of marrying the millionaire, pulls off his wig and says  "Osgood, I'm a man" without skipping a beat Osgood replies "Nobody's perfect"

More movie advice - on Star Wars - see the original three, made in the late 1970s and 1980s.  The later three, were prequels, back story, flashbacks if you will.  They were a hollow shell of the original three.  They were CGI heavy, annoying, and lacked the character driven action and chemistry between the actors; and not nearly as fun as the originals.

I really hope that the episode title is fortelling a lighthearted, tongue in cheek episode, which we are definetely due for.
