Great job!!  Loved the preview Brian!  Quite the "Lemony Snicket" feel to it! Smiley   Can't wait!!!!!

And, yes, I read it to the end......I am weak!

P.S.  Admitting you have a problem is the first step, right??? Smiley

So I just skimmed today - want to go in kinda fresh.

Titus Welliver huh?  Another Deadwood actor (William Sanderson's Oldham being the first a few eps ago)

Lovin the casting.  All - If you missed Deadwood on HBO, DirectTV is reairing the unedited series on 101 starting the end of the month.  Such a good series.

Aaandddd here we go...

Damn, Brian, you ruined it for me!!

Seriously, stop selling yourself short--your posts are insightful as always, and I think the whole idea right now is for Darlton and Co. to try and make sure we don't have a good idea of what's coming next.

And--George Gerdes???  The singer/songwriter who released the album Obituary and then one of the greatest-titled albums ever, Son Of Obituary?

Oh, one more thing:

A pal of mine (who has his own TV blog) thinks that since each season as introduced/focused on one group of characters, as follows:

Season One - the 815ers
Season Two - the Tailies
Season Three - the Others
Season Four - the Freighter folk
Season Five - Dharmites

...Season Six will introduce and focus on "The Whisperers".

I disagree.

I think "The Whisperers" have already been explained--they're people who died on the Island.

I think Season Six will focus on the "Shadow of the Statue" people, whom I believe are the true original inhabitants of the Island.  And the climax of the entire series will be the "final" battle for the Island: the Shadow people vs. The Others and nearly everyone else, with our 815 survivors maybe splitting their loyalties.

You heard it here first (I think).  Or, if I'm wrong, you didn't hear it at all.  It was in a different reality.

I'll post this later in the instant reactions comments, but OMFG and WOW are all I can say about these 2 hours.  I am COMPLETELY satisfied as if I just ate a great big meal and felt every morsel was delicously satisfying.  I am SO HAPPY!  What a completely amazing finale.  I can definitely get by for 8 months on this wondrous tidbit.

So we haven't heard anything about Alvar Hanso, the Hanso Foundation or Mittelwerk for quite awhile. As we get into the last season, it seems we need to learn more about the connection between Hanso and the Island, and bring it out of obscurity. Also, the writers cleverly did not give Man #2 a name, which indicates to me that the name must have some significance to the audience, or they could have just called him Joe or Mike or whatever. Does anyone else think its possible that Man #2 is Alvar Hanso or has some connection to him?
